Eve gives us a vast, sprawling world spanning 5000 solar systems. It has a rich and intricate background expressed in the fiction and scientific articles on the official site and in the myriad of details to be found in the game itself. Still, all that gives us is a backdrop: we write our own stories.
This was an idea originally conceived within the pages of the OOC forums, a.k.a. The Chatsubo. The evil Caldari patriot and notorious criminal, Herko Kerghans, conned me into joining him and Pulgor in a collaborative writing project that turned out to be a monster much larger than any of us had cause to imagine before we began.
Although there ended up only being three principal writers, the credit must be shared with a wider group of people that contributed opinions, proofreading, artwork, and even just a few kind words that made us feel warm and fuzzy.
Each chapter is in pdf format, and can be downloaded from here. There is a plan to revisit these for further proofreading, as no matter how anal you are about spelling, punctuation and grammar, the task of proofing 10k + words per chapter will pwn you.
